About SOAR Program for First Episode Psychosis
Located on West Moana Lane in Reno, Nevada, this outpatient program operates under Renown Health and provides early intervention for individuals experiencing first episode psychosis, including symptoms such as hearing voices, difficulty with thoughts, and changes in behavior. Services are designed for adolescents and young adults ages 12-25, with eligibility extending up to age 45 based on assessment. Care includes medication, psychotherapy, and group sessions.
Team-Based Early Psychosis Care
Care is delivered through a team-based model for early psychosis. Services include individual therapy, group therapy, medication support, and case management. The program also includes supported employment and education, allowing participants to continue school or work while receiving treatment. Family members are involved in care and education.
