Sessions at Soar & Rest are offered in person or by telehealth. Options include initial assessments, individual therapy, couples and family sessions, and reduced-rate care with supervised clinicians and interns.

Structured Weekly Programs and Group Support

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) run three days per week, three hours per day, with morning (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) and evening (6 p.m. to 9 p.m.) options. The mental health IOP of Soar & Rest supports those stepping down from inpatient care or managing high distress. The eating disorder IOP includes therapy, guided meals, and nutrition support. Additional services include substance use recovery groups, mindfulness sessions, creative expression, and therapy for children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns.

Therapies Used and Care Coordination

Treatment at Soar & Rest includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to address thinking patterns, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) for emotional regulation and distress tolerance, and motivational interviewing (MI) to support behavior change. Trauma-informed care shapes how sessions are paced and structured. Mindfulness practices such as breathing exercises are used during sessions. Soar & Rest does not provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) but refers clients to outside providers and coordinates care when needed.
