Course lengths vary depending on circumstances. A wet reckless option involves 12 hours, while first-time offenses may require 3, 6, or 9 months of participation. Sessions include individual counseling, educational modules, and group learning. For repeat convictions, longer formats of 18 or 30 months incorporate re-entry support, preparing participants for a smoother return to work, family, and community responsibilities after program completion.
Additional Paths to Recovery
Beyond mandated education, the organization is involved in the DUI MAT Integration and Outreach Pilot Project, overseen by California’s Department of Health Care Services. This initiative offers confidential access to Medication Assisted Treatment and other supports for individuals managing opioid or substance use challenges. These services are voluntary, not linked to probation, DMV, or court, giving clients an added layer of care and the chance to strengthen long-term recovery.
