About Reed Behavioral Health
Set in the western Twin Cities area, Reed Behavioral Health facilitates evidence-based outpatient and intensive outpatient (IOP) care for clients of all ages seeking mental health or substance use treatment. They have dedicated tracks for school support, geriatric psychology, women's issues, LGBTQ+ perspectives, couples counseling, and clients who have experienced domestic abuse.
Evidence-Based and Mindfulness Practices
Reed Behavioral Health's therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), accelerated resolution therapy (ART), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), brain spotting, exposure therapy, eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), exposure and response prevention (ERP), family therapy, medication management, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for addiction, narrative therapy, and mindfulness-based therapies. They aim to offer these in a non-judgmental manner.

Reed Behavioral Health serves clients with in-person or virtual therapy on Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Clients attend the IOP groups 3 days a week. They have substance use-focused IOP group meetings in the mornings from 9 a.m. to noon and in the evening from 4 to 7 p.m. On Monday evenings, Reed hosts a professionals' group for substance use IOP counseling.
