About Pioneer Behavioral Health - Arlington Heights
Built on the belief that recovery is personal and barriers to care should never prevent someone from getting help, Pioneer Behavioral Health provides individualized behavioral health treatment that adapts to each person's needs. At its Arlington Heights location, adults receive flexible full-day and half-day outpatient mental health care through structured programs led by master's-level clinicians. The center combines individual counseling, peer support, psychoeducation, practical life-skills training, family support services, and recovery-focused activities with evidence-based therapies. Treatment includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), group therapy, trauma-informed care, medication management, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when clinically appropriate, with treatment plans shaped around each client’s needs, goals, schedule, and circumstances.
Continuum of Care
Pioneer Behavioral Health’s program hours run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with evening programming from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. This continuum includes individual therapy, skill-building groups, family support services, peer connection, and aftercare planning that may involve continued outpatient care, medication management when appropriate, alumni support, and community resource referrals to help clients maintain progress beyond structured treatment.
