About Pine Rest Caledonia Clinic
Rooted in Pine Rest’s Christian mission, Pine Rest Caledonia Clinic gives children, teens, and adults a place to address mental health, family relationships, and questions of faith through outpatient treatment. Therapists and psychiatric providers work within the same clinic, with services extending from early childhood counseling to adult psychiatric evaluations. They welcome people of all faiths and respect each client’s spiritual preferences, including when grief, life changes, or parent-child conflict bring them into counseling.
Connecting Therapy and Psychiatry
Staff help clients choose a clinician who fits their needs and preferences. Therapists provide individual, couples, and family sessions, while psychiatric providers evaluate adults and manage medications. Clinicians address mood conditions such as depression and bipolar disorder, anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum concerns, self-harm, trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Clients attend in person or through teletherapy and telepsychiatry. When clients need more intensive treatment, clinicians arrange referrals to day treatment (PHP) or inpatient programs.
Groups for Adults, Veterans, and Caregivers
Caledonia’s Adult Healthy Living Group meets weekly for 12 weeks, combining peer discussion with lessons on communication, stress, emotions, sleep, and relapse prevention, including after hospitalization. Veterans meet in person to examine military service’s effects on relationships, identity, and moral injury. The Nurtured Heart Approach® parenting class teaches caregivers relationship-focused responses to challenging behavior, with future Caledonia dates pending. The clinic also offers evening appointments, accepts most insurance plans, and provides financial assistance.
