About New Day Ranch
Located on Lampman Drive and near Interstate 90 in Billings, New Day Ranch serves adults and youth ages 10–17 facing substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. They offer an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and continuing care for adults alongside day treatment (PHP) and live in therapeutic group homes for youth. The center hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Access Structured Community Care
Clinicians at New Day Ranch conduct mental health and substance use assessments to shape focused treatment plans. Therapies and treatment include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Seeking Safety, anger management, Living in Balance curriculum, moral recognition therapy (MRT), Adult Children of Alcoholics groups, 12-Step modalities, and Prime for Life classes. Staff work alongside the 13th Judicial Drug Court to reinforce treatment goals and court requirements.
Advance Growth Through Routine
Youth day treatment (PHP) blends therapy with accredited education through Acellus Academy, allowing participants to return home each evening. Therapeutic group homes and equine therapy operate at the ranch campus on Coburn Road, about 15 minutes from Lampman Drive. Structured ranch living, sweat lodge, and peer support services help adults and teens build practical skills, strengthen relationships, and rebuild community ties.
