About Merakey Valley Road
Helping people with autism build communication, stronger relationships, and greater independence, Merakey Valley Road is a therapeutic and educational autism services center for children, adolescents, young adults, and families. They address communication needs, behavioral and emotional concerns, social development, and challenges affecting school and daily life through applied behavioral analysis and specialized developmental services.
Build Skills for Everyday Life
Their applied behavioral analysis (ABA) services strengthen attention, listening, imitation, reading, conversation, perspective-taking, and other functional skills. Specialized therapies, transition planning, family involvement, independence coaching, and pre-vocational training help people apply progress at home, school, work, and in the community while preparing for greater independence.
Turn Progress into Independence
Located along Valley Road, this center is part of Merakey, a nonprofit dedicated to helping people, families, and communities. Merakey began in Philadelphia in 1969 as The Northwest Center, later became NHS Human Services, and has grown into a multi-state provider serving 12 states across behavioral health, autism, addiction recovery, intellectual and developmental disability, education, foster care, aging, and veteran services. At this location, they carry that mission forward through practical growth, confidence, and meaningful participation in community life.
