About Merakey Broadway
Helping young people build resilience, healthier relationships, and stronger futures, Merakey Broadway is an outpatient and community-based child and family behavioral health center for children, adolescents, young adults, and families. They address emotional difficulties, behavioral concerns, autism-related needs, family conflict, school challenges, and social-development needs through therapy, psychiatry, family care, and youth-centered services.
Build Skills beyond the Classroom
They provide outpatient therapy and psychiatry, individual and group counseling, family-based treatment, school and community care, crisis guidance, and structured skill building. Newburgh youth programming also includes after-school workshops for ages 11 through 21, using creative activities to support expression, connection, and positive development. Care reflects each young person’s strengths, needs, family circumstances, and future goals.
Strengthen Futures with Family
Located along Broadway, this center is part of Merakey, a nonprofit dedicated to helping people, families, and communities. Merakey began in Philadelphia in 1969 as The Northwest Center, later became NHS Human Services, and has grown into a multi-state provider serving 12 states across behavioral health, autism, addiction recovery, intellectual and developmental disability, education, foster care, aging, and veteran services. At this location, they help young people strengthen coping skills, family relationships, confidence, and readiness for a healthier future.
