About Merakey Albright Avenue
Helping children and families move toward greater safety and stability, Merakey Albright Avenue is a child, family, and foster care services center for children, adolescents, young adults, birth families, and foster families. They address emotional and behavioral concerns, family conflict, school challenges, and placement-related needs through youth treatment, family-centered support, and child-welfare services.
Support Stability through Change
They provide youth therapy and psychiatry, family-centered treatment, school and community care, crisis guidance, child-welfare support, and family-strengthening services. Their foster care programs also help families navigate caregiving, placement stability, reunification, and children’s long-term emotional wellbeing. Together, these services support safer relationships, stronger family connections, and more stable transitions.
Help Families Move Forward
Located along Albright Avenue, this center is part of Merakey, a nonprofit dedicated to helping people, families, and communities. Merakey began in Philadelphia in 1969 as The Northwest Center, later became NHS Human Services, and has grown into a multi-state provider serving 12 states across behavioral health, autism, addiction recovery, intellectual and developmental disability, education, foster care, aging, and veteran services. At this location, they help children and families build resilience, strengthen relationships, and move toward lasting stability.
