About MedStar Health - Franklin Square Medical Center
Located in the Rosedale area of eastern Baltimore near Interstate 95 and Interstate 695, MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center provides outpatient behavioral health care for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Programs include adult, child and adolescent, community, geriatric, and school-based behavioral health services. Clients receive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, individual psychotherapy, family therapy, couples therapy, and group therapy for a range of mental health concerns.
Child and Family Programs
The center serves children and adolescents with mood, anxiety, attention, sleep, emotional regulation, and behavioral difficulties through psychiatric diagnostic assessments, medical treatment, and therapy. The Resilience Builder Program uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in small groups for children ages 7–14. Regulating Together serves children ages 8–12 and adolescents ages 13–18, combining CBT, applied behavior analysis (ABA), mindfulness, and behavior management. Additional services include mindfulness classes, parent management training, and parent education groups.
