About Lakes Regional Community Center
Guided by a mission to help people live with dignity, choice, and greater independence, Lakes Regional Community Center along North Main Street in Paris serves as an IDD provider for Delta and Lamar counties. Open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the center focuses on community-based support that helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities build confidence, strengthen daily living skills, and participate more fully in community life.
Strengthen Everyday Life Together
To support those goals, services include Community First Choice Personal Assistance Services (CFC/PAS), which helps with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living through hands-on assistance and observation. The center also offers Community First Choice Habilitation (CFC/HAB), helping individuals build self-help, socialization, and daily living skills while working toward person-centered goals. For added independence, Independent Living Skills Training (ILST) provides person-centered coaching to help individuals increase, retain, or recover skills needed to live as independently as possible in the community.
