Located in South Florida, IKANN Wellness is a women-focused outpatient center at 2901 Stirling Road, Suite 203, in Fort Lauderdale. Services include day treatment (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), individual therapy, family and couples counseling, medication management, case management, telehealth, and sober living coordination. Day treatment runs 5-6 hours a day, 5 days a week. IOP runs about 3 hours per session, 3-5 days a week, with evening options. The center lists hours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., 7 days a week.
Conditions and Daily Treatment
IKANN Wellness treats anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, complex trauma, burnout, compassion fatigue, eating disorders, substance use disorder (SUD), co-occurring conditions, and relationship or family concerns. Clients may attend group therapy, individual sessions, family therapy, psychiatric visits, nutrition counseling, and weekly case management. Therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), trauma-focused CBT, motivational interviewing (MI), solution-focused therapy, somatic therapy, internal family systems (IFS), hypnotherapy, art and music therapy, mindfulness, yoga, equine-assisted therapy, and relapse prevention. Providers may use medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid addiction when clinically appropriate.
Specialized Tracks and Ongoing Care
Separate tracks serve women firefighters, law enforcement professionals, educators, and Jewish women. First responder services include trauma therapy, peer groups, flexible scheduling around shifts, and return-to-duty planning. Educator services include evening sessions, burnout treatment, boundary-setting, and career counseling. The Jewish track includes kosher meals, Shabbat-sensitive scheduling, women-only groups, optional rabbi coordination, and residential housing through Yacholet in Hollywood.
