About Gosnold Behavioral Health - Hyannis
Grounded in service, community, and individualized care, Gosnold Behavioral Health – Hyannis provides day treatment (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP) and outpatient programs for mental health and co-occurring substance use disorder (SUD). Care addresses anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), addiction, and co-occurring conditions through group treatment, psychiatry, medication management, and case management.
Build Skills Through Structure
Treatment combines cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychoeducation, expressive therapy, and group work with psychiatric care and continuing-care planning. Case managers coordinate with families, primary care physicians, probation officers, and outside providers when needed, while individual, couples, and family counseling addresses communication, relationships, emotional symptoms, and substance use concerns.
Coordinate Treatment Beyond Sessions
A dedicated veterans program addresses trauma, anxiety, and substance use through eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), veteran clinicians, and Veterans Affairs (VA) community support. Their telepsychiatry connects adolescents and adults with psychiatric care, while anger management, dual-diagnosis recovery, and early recovery groups focus on coping, relapse prevention, peer support, and recovery planning.
