About Golden Psychology
Offering trauma-informed and gender identity affirming care for adolescents 11-17 years old, adults, and families, Golden Psychology helps navigate complex mental health challenges whether it is trauma, burnout, anxiety, depression, suicidality, or something else. Their treatment is highly personalized, offering structure and ensuring individualized support beyond weekly therapy sessions.
Begin Feeling More Connected and Hopeful
Golden Psychology’s adolescent and adult day programs provide structured, intensive mental health care while allowing individuals to maintain life at home or within a supportive community setting. Their group-based programming uses evidence-based methods like dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), which helps clients with emotion regulation and distress tolerance while acceptance and commitment (ACT) therapy helps with anxiety and cognitive flexibility. Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and other trauma-focused therapies helps individuals heal from difficult past experiences.
Receive Impactful Care Based on Personal Needs
Golden Psychology provides identity-affirming, trauma-informed care led by experienced clinicians. They support diverse needs, offering substance use support, and addressing concerns regarding executive functioning, boundaries, sleep, and more. They also offer various therapy modalities like art therapy for creative expression and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) when appropriate. Through all their services, Golden Psychology helps clients build stability, strengthen skills, and reconnect with their goals and values.
Access Support After Formal Treatment
Golden Psychology supports long-term recovery through personalized aftercare planning, helping clients coordinate outpatient treatment, family follow-up counseling, return visits, support meetings, and online or in-person follow-up sessions. Alumni also receive priority return access if additional care is needed in the future.
