About Ctrl Care
Mental health challenges and problematic technology use often overlap, and CTRLCare addresses both through evidence-based outpatient treatment. Based in Randolph, New Jersey, they serve adolescents, young adults, college students, and adults with emotional, behavioral, and technology-related concerns, reporting a 90% rate of improved outcomes through their programs.
Combining Therapy and Psychiatric Treatment
From anxiety and depression to attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), they treat a broad range of mental health concerns. Their outpatient programs include intensive outpatient (IOP), traditional outpatient, and individual counseling and family counseling. They also provide cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychiatric treatment, and ongoing medication management.
Beyond Screens and Social Media
Gaming, social media, smartphone use, cyberbullying, sexting, and other technology-related concerns form a central part of their treatment programming. They complement these programs with art therapy, music activities, and dedicated art, music, game, and mini-golf rooms. Their adolescent IOP meets 3 to 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., while adult IOP follows the same schedule from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
