For five decades, Southeast Missouri Behavioral Health (SEMOBH) served Missouri before rebranding as Centerstone after SEMOBH’s parent company, Brightli, merged with Centerstone. This location provides mental health and co-occurring substance use care for adults and children, including crisis intervention, treatment planning, and screenings.

Making Space for Different Needs

Counseling forms a core part of Centerstone’s program, with individual, group, and family sessions addressing addiction, anxiety, anger disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, stress, trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Counselors meet 1-on-1 with clients, lead groups for people facing similar concerns, or work with spouses, children, parents, and siblings through family counseling.

Supporting Daily Life and Independence

The community psychiatric rehabilitation (CPR) program provides daily outpatient services that help participants build life skills while continuing to live in their own homes. The program focuses on life skills, wellness, and self-care while helping participants strengthen support systems. They also offer transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy and develop treatment plans around each client’s goals and history with mental health treatment.
