About Casa Esperanza Roxbury Outpatient Clinic
Built around culturally focused, bilingual care, Casa Esperanza's Roxbury outpatient programs expand access to addiction and mental health treatment for Latine communities while welcoming people from all backgrounds. Serving Greater Boston, Casa Esperanza's Familias Unidas and Roxbury Campus outpatient programs treat substance use disorders (SUD), mental health conditions, co-occurring disorders, trauma, and gambling addiction. Services include outpatient treatment, a Structured Outpatient Addiction Program (SOAP), including a fully Spanish-language program, along with in-person care across Greater Boston and telehealth for eligible Massachusetts residents.
Culturally Focused Outpatient Care
Casa Esperanza combines psychiatric care, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), individual, family, and group therapy with recovery coaching and case management. Clients can participate in specialized groups focused on trauma, co-occurring mental health conditions, relapse prevention, anger management, tobacco education, mindfulness, and overall wellness. The clinic also offers bilingual and bicultural Behavioral Health Urgent Care with same- and next-day appointments, care in Spanish and English, and interpreter services available in additional languages.
Connecting Care with Community
Support extends beyond therapy through free recovery coaching, employment support, housing and benefits assistance, transportation services, and peer support. Specialized programs, including Thinking for a Change and Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT), help people returning from incarceration build practical life skills for successful community reentry. Casa Esperanza also provides HIV prevention and coordinated care through Tu Bienestar, while its Mi Vida, Mi Historia youth program teaches young people about substance use prevention, HIV awareness, healthy decision-making, and responding to peer pressure through interactive workshops.
