CASA Lehigh
About CASA Lehigh
This outpatient program, focused on adults and teens ages 15-17, helps individuals with substance use. They offer assessments, medication, and group services. Patients can see a psychiatrist within one to seven days to stabilize for treatment. The Lehigh Avenue site provides cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, youth programs, DUI services, and social-service support to reduce barriers to care.
Medication Options Paired with Supportive Counseling
The center combines medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for alcohol, opioid, and nicotine use disorders with counseling and group sessions to build recovery skills. Their experiential learning and recreational therapy extend growth through activities like cooking, gardening, and community projects. Patients can also request spiritual care from pastoral staff for prayer, reflection, and church connections.
Youth Small Groups Encourage Healthy Routines
The center's support goes beyond sessions. Youth benefit from small groups, after-school meals, and trips that foster healthy routines. They also provide Court Reporting Network (CRN) evaluations, Pennsylvania Highway Safety School, and individual DUI sessions for those with justice-related needs. Their telehealth, evening, and weekend hours are available for established patients, offering flexibility.
