As New England’s first provider of magnetic e-resonance therapy (MeRT), Brainwaves Neuro Restoration Center offers brainwave-guided treatment at its Warwick outpatient clinic. They provide non-invasive, drug-free magnetic stimulation for depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and traumatic brain injury. Services include MeRT and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), with brain mapping before treatment begins.

Guide Treatment with Brainwave Testing

The center provides MeRT that starts with a quantitative electroencephalogram (qEEG) to record brainwaves and an electrocardiogram (EKG) to measure heart activity. Wave Neuroscience analyzes the recordings, and a physician reviews the proposed treatment plan with the client. Clients receive stimulation during appointments lasting about 45 minutes from technicians. And a repeat qEEG and EKG recordings every 9 treatments is done to track response and adjust treatment as needed.

Serve Veterans and Treat Nerve Pain

The center also serves active-duty service members and veterans through MeRT for PTSD and traumatic brain injury, and rTMS for depression. A care coordinator helps military families navigate coverage and bill TRICARE directly for eligible rTMS treatment. The Warwick clinic also provides magnetic peripheral nerve stimulation (mPNS) for adults with chronic nerve pain, including pain following surgery or injury.
