Brain Treatment Center - Fort Worth

Veteran-owned and located in Burleson on the south side of Fort Worth, Brain Treatment Center Fort Worth provides noninvasive, drug-free Magnetic e-Resonance Therapy (MeRT) for children and adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), persistent concussion symptoms, anxiety, and other neurological concerns. The center uses quantitative electroencephalogram (qEEG) brain mapping and electrocardiogram (EKG) testing to create a treatment protocol based on each client's brain activity rather than using a standard repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) protocol.

Brain-Guided Treatment Process

Clients start with qEEG brain mapping, EKG testing, and a clinical evaluation with a board-certified neurologist. The team uses these results to develop the MeRT protocol and delivers treatment 5 days per week in 2-week intervals, with sessions lasting about 30–35 minutes. The center repeats qEEG and EKG testing every 2 weeks to track changes and adjust the protocol when needed. A New Patient Coordinator helps clients and families understand testing, scheduling, and treatment expectations.

Autism Care Alongside Existing Therapies

The center provides MeRT for children and adults with autism and can coordinate treatment alongside applied behavior analysis (ABA) and other therapies already in place. Its outpatient format allows clients to attend weekday sessions while maintaining school, work, therapy, and family routines. Regular brain mapping gives the care team objective information to follow changes over time and determine whether the MeRT protocol needs adjustment as treatment progresses.
