About Brain Treatment Center - Chile
Focused on personalized brain-mapping guided care, Brain Treatment Center Chile provides MeRT from its clinic in Lo Barnechea, Santiago, with a second location in Antofagasta. They treat people with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), addiction, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), insomnia, traumatic brain injury, stroke-related conditions, and other neurological concerns. As the first medical center in South America to provide MeRT, they use brainwave data to create treatment plans designed to support healthy brain function.
Data-Guided Treatment
Care begins with a medical evaluation, followed by quantitative electroencephalogram (qEEG) brain mapping and electrocardiogram (ECG) testing. The team uses these results to create a MeRT treatment plan before starting repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS). They review brain activity every 10 sessions and adjust treatment as needed. Most treatment plans include 20 to 30 sessions over 4 to 6 weeks, with appointments scheduled Monday through Friday.
Ongoing Monitoring and Treatment Adjustments
The clinical team tracks progress throughout treatment and updates the plan based on each person's results. This step-by-step approach includes evaluation, magnetic stimulation, and regular follow-up to help improve communication between areas of the brain. As part of the international Brain Treatment Center network, they deliver MeRT® using US FDA-cleared transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) technology.
