About Behavioral Framework - Charlotte
With a mission to lower barriers and increase access to high-quality care for youth diagnosed with autism and their families, Behavioral Framework - Charlotte provides assessments and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. The clinic is near Hilton Charlotte University Place and serves children up to age 12. In-home services are for ages 15 and under, and diagnostic services are available for clients up to age 18, supporting continuity of care across developmental stages.
A Path to Diagnosis
The Pathways program evaluates autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental concerns, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Assessments can examine cognitive and adaptive functioning, social-emotional development, social communication, attention, academics, executive functioning, behavior, and family dynamics. Families receive a comprehensive report with recommendations for next steps.
ABA in Daily Life
In-home ABA therapy involves parents and siblings, while in-clinic care combines individual therapy with structured peer activities and school-readiness practice. Treatment focuses on communication, social, behavioral, self-care, and daily living skills. Intensive ABA therapy may range from 10–40 hours per week, typically across 4–5 days, and lasting 3–6 hours. The team also offers specialized programs for toilet training, feeding, and verbal behavior, plus collaboration with speech and occupational therapy providers.
