Taking a broad approach to mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, Austin Family Mental Health serves clients of all ages with anxiety, depression, ADHD, SUD, and other mental health concerns. Their independent practice includes psychiatric providers and nurses, with care available in person and through telehealth. Their care also includes psychiatric services, psychotherapy, group therapy, medication management, detox, and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). For SUD, additional support can include medications to ease withdrawal symptoms or reduce cravings and 12-step programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).

Experienced Leadership and Personalized Care

Under the leadership of psychiatrist Dr. William Holcomb, who has served the Austin community for over 25 years, Austin Family Mental Health remains independently and solely owned. Providers incorporate psychotherapy alongside psychiatric care, with therapy available one-on-one, in groups, or with family members depending on clients’ needs. Group therapy is available for clients of all ages, with specific groups varying over time. Initial appointments last 1 hour and 45 minutes, while follow-up appointments last 30 minutes or longer.
