About Aurora Healing and Recovery for Women
Built by women for women, Aurora Healing & Recovery for Women treats anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), burnout, grief, codependency, postpartum mood disorders, and co-occurring substance use. Its partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP) give women structured daytime treatment while they return home each evening and integrate psychiatric support, therapy, and care coordination throughout treatment.
Combine Therapy with Wellness
Its treatment combines cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), individual and group therapy, psychoeducation, relapse prevention, psychiatric medication management, nursing, and case management. Aurora also incorporates mindfulness, guided meditation, yoga, movement, somatic work, and nervous system regulation. Their clinicians shape treatment around each woman’s history, symptoms, and goals while building emotion-regulation and distress-tolerance skills through clinical and integrative approaches.
Coordinate Care Around Women
Aurora’s morning co-occurring disorders program treats mental health and substance use concerns together through integrated therapy, psychiatric support, relapse prevention, and case management. This women-only program also addresses postpartum mood disorders and major life transitions through individualized care.
Full-Day programming runs Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., while Morning Half-Day runs 9 a.m.-12 p.m., and Afternoon Half-Day runs 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
