About Arms Acres Outpatient - Queens
Serving Queens, Arms Acres provides flexible outpatient addiction treatment for teens and adults with drug, opioid, and alcohol dependence, as well as co-occurring disorders. The center offers psychiatric evaluation, medication management, assessments, drug testing, and individual, group, and family counseling. The center is open 6 days a week with day, evening, and weekend programming, and telehealth is also available.
Healing With Medication and Therapy
Arms Acres provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using methadone or suboxone alongside evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and psychodynamic therapy. The team combines medication with relapse prevention planning and recovery skills training to support treatment goals.
Support Beyond Treatment
Arms Acres also offers recovery coach services, criminal justice support, an adolescent program, parenting services, and DMV evaluations in English and Spanish. Certified recovery coaches help clients apply coping skills, connect with community resources, and build relapse prevention plans. The facility includes a Spanish-language Latino program for clients who primarily speak Spanish and prefer treatment in their native language.
