ANEW Health & Wellness Clinic

Focused on women and families, this nonprofit mental health clinic combines therapy and depression treatment with coordinated support from pregnancy through a baby’s first year. ANEW Health & Wellness Clinic shares its Etna Street building in Saint Paul with ANEW Chemical Health Services. Licensed therapists, alcohol and drug counselors, and peer specialists address depression, anxiety, trauma, and co-occurring substance use concerns.

Work With Therapists and Explore Depression Treatment

Clients can meet with a therapist individually, with a partner, or with family, and receive diagnostic assessments. In dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills and Healthy Relationships groups, they learn ways to manage emotions and communicate. Therapists use guided eye movements in accelerated resolution therapy (ART) to help clients process distressing memories. For depression that does not improve enough with medication, the center offers NeuroStar transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Clients can also access psychiatry and medication management through partner Affirmation Health.

Support Mothers Through the First Year

Through its Plan of Safe Care program, the clinic supports pregnant mothers and those with babies under 12 months. Participants can access therapy, TMS, and groups, plus substance use treatment at ANEW Chemical Health Services and weekday care at ANEW Childcare Center. A program coordinator also connects mothers with sober housing, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and perinatal support through community partners.
