About Ally Psychiatry - Charleston
Located west of North Charleston Wannamaker County Park, Ally Psychiatry treats children, teens, adults, and seniors through outpatient clinic visits and telehealth. Psychiatrists, therapists, psychologists, nurses, counselors, and advanced practice providers evaluate mental health concerns and deliver therapy, medication management, psychological testing, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and Spravato. They treat depression, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
Psychiatry, Therapy, and Testing
They conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, and offer individual, group, and family therapy. Psychological testing helps providers assess concerns such as ADHD, autism, anxiety, trauma, and other behavioral or cognitive needs. TMS gives some patients with depression or OCD another treatment option when standard care has not worked well enough. Spravato treats eligible adults with treatment-resistant depression. They can combine these services to address each patient’s condition, symptoms, and response to treatment.
Access, Hours, and Payment
Telehealth gives eligible patients another way to attend appointments when distance, caregiving duties, or health concerns make clinic visits harder. They operate Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. They accept most major insurance plans, VA benefits, and self-pay, and also accept out-of-network coverage. The outpatient structure allows patients to continue work, school, and family responsibilities while receiving scheduled mental health care.
