About Adapt For Life Autism Services - New Albany
Helping children make steady progress in communication, behavior, emotional development, and independence, Adapt For Life Autism Services - New Albany is an autism therapy center built around individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. They shape care around personal strengths and needs rather than preset milestones, with family input guiding goals throughout treatment. They are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Learning Through Practice and Play
They use structured practice, positive reinforcement, play, and hands-on activities to teach skills that can make daily routines easier. Therapy may work on communication, social interaction, behavior, emotional development, and greater independence. Progress is tracked over time so they can adjust goals and activities as new abilities develop.
Family Input Guides Progress
The center belongs to Adapt For Life Autism Services, an independent, privately and veteran-owned organization that prioritizes individualized autism care and strong family involvement. Parents receive strategies that can reinforce communication, routines, and independence between sessions. They also describe home and community-based ABA as part of care, although those services are currently on hold because of clinical capacity.
