About Otter House Wellness
This treatment facility is an outpatient for clients with mild to moderate substance use disorders. Their programs are partial hospitalization programs (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and outpatient programs. Although the programs have varying levels of intensity, all three programs have a structured environment and treatment plans are carefully designed for each individual’s specific needs. Men in the PHP level of care can also participate in their supportive housing program.
Build Lasting Recovery Skills
In their outpatient programs, there is a heavy emphasis on developing coping skills and relapse prevention strategies. They also use individual therapy and group therapy to treat their clients’ addictive and mental health conditions. Clients can receive medication-assisted treatment (MAT) if needed to reduce cravings. When clients have finished receiving treatment, the professionals at Otter House help them navigate aftercare, which can include continued support groups and sessions with a therapist.
