About Nova Recovery Center Austin
Located in the capital of Texas, Nova Recovery Center Austin offers an intensive outpatient program and supportive outpatient treatment and aftercare services. Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) is offered both in-person and online and allows for individuals to receive treatment while balancing daily life commitments. After an individual completes the IOP, they can receive supportive outpatient treatment and aftercare services, which offers individuals ongoing support in their recovery journey. They specialize in chronic relapse and each patient will walk through the 12-Step program with a recovery specialist, counselor, and their peers. Nova Recovery Center uses various modalities during treatment like individual counseling, group counseling, educational lectures and workshops, and specialized therapies. Each patient will have an individualized treatment plan while they are in treatment at Nova.
Nova Recovery Center offers an intensive 3-day family program that involves the whole family of someone in recovery. The program is co-facilitated by counselors and recovery specialists. The program consists of group therapy sessions, educational lectures, homework assignments, and experiential work. They use the Johari Window model to identify family issues and also use psychodrama techniques during the program.
Nova offers a personal monitoring program, which provides each individual with a sober coach. Individuals will have weekly meetings with their sober coach, who will serve as an accountability partner and will provide support and guidance needed to meet goals, avoid triggers, and avoid relapse.
