New Life Portugal is a wellness retreat tucked in the quiet mountainside of the Serra Da Estrela, Portugal. They take a holistic approach to treating stress, burnout, and symptoms of anxiety, depression, and grief; offering focused retreats ranging from 3 to 28 days. Their retreat options include weekend retreats, a rest and rejuvenation retreat, wellness path, and resilience path. All the retreat options include housing, 3 healthy meals a day, 1-on-1 counseling sessions, psychoeducational workshops, guided meditation, and yoga sessions. At the heart of New Life’s philosophy is the belief that a combination of counseling, yoga, and mindfulness can alleviate mental health symptoms and increase quality of life.
New Life Portugal features a variety of wellness-focused amenities to enhance client’s retreat experience. All clients stay in private bedrooms with housekeeping services and enjoy 3 meals a day of fresh fruits and vegetables, many of which are grown in their gardens. They primarily serve vegan and lacto-ovo vegetarian dishes and can accommodate dietary restrictions. At the facility, guests have access to a heated pool, sauna, yoga sessions, massages, and a meditation room. Offsite clients can enjoy the natural area through hiking, biking, kayaking, or horseback riding.
