About More Than Rehab - Women's Housing
More Than Rehab offers a full continuum of care with several locations in Texas. Their women’s housing program specializes in sober living for women who are experiencing drug or alcohol addiction, providing supportive housing for women in their outpatient program. Their program is uniquely run by women, for women, in a safe and comfortable environment, encouraging a healing and distraction-free setting that allows for peer connection. Their women’s housing program collaborates with their intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and partial hospitalization programs (PHP) to provide personalized care while women live in a safe and supportive home environment.
Personally Tailored Treatment
More Than Rehab offers a social model, aiming to integrate clients back into society feeling confident and secure in their recovery. Treatment methods in their outpatient program are personally tailored to the individual, and involve holistic and faith-based practices based on the belief that addiction is a disease. Treatment may include yoga, spiritual formation, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), life skills, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), family therapy, medication-assisted therapy (MAT), and group and individual therapy, designed to suit the needs of the client at an affordable price.
Within housing, clients may enjoy amenities like a swimming pool, meditation room, shared bedrooms, and access to nature.
Center Overview
Supportive Medication for Recovery
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT
Methadone
Naltrexone
Buprenorphine
This center accepts patients receiving MAT prescribed elsewhere for opioid use disorder, but does not provide MAT.
Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
