About Millcreek of Pontotoc
Millcreek of Pontotoc is a specialized treatment center for adolescents, teens, and young adults struggling with depression, behavioral issues, and co-occurring disorders. Millcreek of Pontotoc offers group homes, residential treatment, and therapeutic day school. The residential treatment program is suited for adolescents and young adults between the ages of 6 and 20. The program is open to boys and girls with a total of 51 beds throughout 3 different cottages. Gender-specific treatment includes individual therapy sessions, group therapy, family counseling, experiential therapies, and medication medication management. Educational services are provided through a fully accredited, on-site therapeutic day school. Classes are held from 8:00 am-11:00 am every day, and at this time clients break for an hour of group therapy and then have lunch. After lunch, patients return to class from 12:30 pm-2:00 pm. Classes are offered in small classrooms with low student-to-teacher and student-to-aid ratios in order to ensure that all academic needs are fully addressed.
