About Milestones in Recovery
Milestones in Recovery offers both residential and day treatment for those struggling with compulsive overeating, bulimia, anorexia, and related disorders. Milestones provide a unique therapeutic environment. Residential treatment takes place in apartment-style residences offering a “real world” atmosphere. Participants grocery shop with dietitians in the community and then learn to prepare their own meals per the prescribed meal plan they have formulated with the dietitian. A full schedule of group and individual therapies are offered at the clinical campus, and clients will attend community support groups in the local community.
Unlike a traditional hospital environment, Milestones provides an opportunity to recover in a less restrictive setting while still receiving the support and structure necessary to overcome an eating disorder. The apartments are close to the beautiful coastal beaches of Hollywood, Florida, where clients can enjoy up-scale accommodations in a therapeutic environment.
