About Lionrock Recovery - Virtual
Lionrock fights for recovery alongside each client so they can experience the hard-won joy of a life without substance and alcohol addiction. They believe the answers clients seek lie within themselves, and use online treatment to help them find their better, stronger selves. They offer outpatient and intensive outpatient programs with both group and individual therapy sessions available on a schedule that works best for each client.
Lionrock programs use group and individual therapy to balance the benefits of both. Group therapy is a safe, structured environment in which group leaders transmit new information, teach new skills, and guide clients as they practice new behaviors and support one another. Weekly individual therapy, typically with a primary counselor, addresses personal issues, tracks progress, provides case management, and plans for discharge.
Lionrock’s outpatient (OP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs provide flexible treatment while allowing clients to maintain daily responsibilities. OP offers 16 hours of care per month, including two 90-minute group sessions and one individual session per week, focusing on real-world coping skills for maintaining sobriety. IOP includes 40 hours of treatment per month, including three 3-hour group sessions per week, plus individual, educational, and family sessions.
Lionrock makes treatment more accessible for those who might not otherwise find convenient care, including clients with disabilities, multiple jobs, children, or legal obligations. Because Lionrock clients get help from the privacy of home, they start sessions relaxed and open up more easily. There’s no driving, no fear of being recognized, and flexible scheduling that fits work, family, and travel.

Lionrock community members benefit from both a private social network and a mobile app. Lionrock Today is their social network available 24/7 for Lionrock clients to support each other. And Fieldwork is their mobile app that lets clients see their progress through a daily schedule of support exercises and check-ins.
As clients progress toward their goals, their primary counselor makes sure that other factors—medical concerns, living situations, work issues, and family members—are also moving in the right direction. Near the end of treatment, they’ll focus on what’s next in terms of support, whether in the client’s community or aftercare programs offered by Lionrock.
At Lionrock, family members may be invited to join individual sessions with the client and their primary counselor. Family integration focuses on strengthening support, changing unhealthy dynamics, and preparing loved ones for early recovery. Counselors educate families on relapse warning signs, the causes and effects of substance use disorders, and the value of joining their own support groups.
Lionrock hosts more than 35 online 12-Step and alternative support group meetings, including specialized groups and workshops for LGBTQIA2+, women, parents, nurses, and more. Their Lionrock-exclusive meeting format called Community invites all people in the pursuit of peace in mind and body to find hope and healing through connections with each other.
