About Kyla Fox Centre
Kyla Fox is a one-of-a-kind, private eating disorder treatment centre for women in Toronto, Canada. They treat an entire spectrum of eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, over-exercise addiction, orthorexia, negative body image, and/or any preoccupation one has with food and the body. They provide individualized treatment programs including a Telehealth program with online group support for adults and adolescents. “The virtual program runs 7 days per week for 21 days (three weeks). At the end of week two, a virtual team meeting will take place (with the client) in order to thoughtfully plan for their ongoing care, transition, or termination post week three. Each supervised meal time can be done in a virtual group setting (with one client or more) and/or in an individual setting with a practitioner. One may be more appropriate over the other, and an assessment would be done in order to determine which setting is best to begin with.”
Kyla Fox believes eating disorder treatment requires 2 areas of focus that must be addressed jointly during treatment; intensive clinical therapy and holistic healing. Intensive therapy uncovers the root cause of additions and can include interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and solution focused and trauma focused therapies. The holistic healing include private yoga sessions, private nutrition sessions, acupuncture, Reiki, art therapy, and naturopathy. Clients will also participate in weekly meal planning and preparation through private cooking sessions, grocery store trips, and nutrition house calls.
Kyla Fox understands that everyone's journey is unique. Their compassionate, personalized care is well-rounded. Kayla Fox is a great choice for those looking for outpatient care and support.
