About Jellinek Society
12-Step Support
Jellinek Society is a non-profit, men’s only residence that offers peer support, counseling, and 12-Step meetings in Edmonton, Canada. Jellinek is best suited for those in the early stages of their recovery process, transitioning between treatment and independent living. Eligible candidates must be at least 18 years old, have completed a minimum of 30 days of inpatient treatment, actively engaged in a 12-step fellowship (AA, NA, or CA), and either employed or looking for employment or educational training.
Abstinence-Based Environment
The abstinence-based environment can ease the transition while providing support, camaraderie, and independence. Whether men may be returning to work, applying for school, or reintegrating with family life, Jellinek provides the extra support needed with on-site 12-Step meetings, individual counseling, and family therapy.
Comfortable Home Setting
The 17 bed home has private and semi-private rooms with a pristine, modern kitchen and comfortable living room spaces. The program cost $850 per month in lieu of rent.
