About United Steps Therapy Early Intervention
Free early intervention reaches families with children ages 0–3 across all 5 NYC boroughs and Nassau County. They provide home-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy for autism and developmental delays, along with speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and special instruction. Board certified behavior analysts (BCBAs) supervise ABA services, while caregivers participate in sessions and learn strategies to use during daily routines.
Developing Skills Through Play and ABA
Through play and everyday activities, the program builds communication, life skills, independence, behavior regulation, and school readiness. ABA sessions target expressive language, requesting, turn-taking, self-care, feeding, dressing, toilet training, and classroom routines. They offer multilingual services in English, Spanish, Greek, Arabic, Russian, and other languages.
