About Cottonwood Creek Behavioral Hospital
This hospital provides inpatient psychiatric care in Meridian, Idaho, for adolescents, adults, and older adults. Admissions are open 24 hours a day for people in psychiatric crisis, including suicidal thoughts, severe mood or anxiety symptoms, significant behavioral change, or co-occurring behavioral and medical concerns.
Individualized Care From the First Evaluation
Each patient gets a psychiatric and nursing evaluation on arrival, and a care team builds a treatment plan around individual clinical needs. Care includes medication management, individual and group therapy, and skill-building and education, delivered through a trauma-informed and least-restrictive approach.
A Connected Outpatient Program for Step-Down Care
A related outpatient program, Haven, operates separately from the hospital and offers a partial hospitalization program, an intensive outpatient program, a virtual intensive outpatient option, and electroconvulsive therapy. Staff build a discharge plan connecting each patient to a next step in care.
