Hillsides Cares provides a comprehensive range of mental health services tailored to each client's needs. The treatment options include partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and residential services, all with 24-hour care from trained staff and mental health providers. The 17-acre campus in Pasadena, CA offers a safe and supportive environment for youth ages 6 to 17, as well as services for LGBTQI2-S clients and their families.
Hillsides Cares is located in a tranquil and convenient residential neighborhood in Pasadena, CA. Each client has a private bedroom with a closet, a shared bathroom, and a common area space to enjoy leisure time. Groups of 10 adolescents live in one of the 5 separate cottages at a time.
With parents' night and monthly activities like holiday events, carnivals, and puppy parties, family involvement is heavily emphasized. Multi-family counseling helps improve communication and can strengthen family bonds. Parents can check in regularly with a phone call or virtual meeting.
