Health Care Resource Centers (HCRC), formerly Community Substance Abuse Centers, specializes in treating substance use disorders and offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using methadone and buprenorphine to treat opioid addictions. They offer a welcoming and non-judgmental environment with tailored services for each individual's unique needs. HCRC New Bedford also offers:

Their treatment center hours are Mon – Fri 5am – 3pm and their medication hours are Mon – Fri 5:30am – 12:30pm with 5-5:30am availability for approved workers and Sat 6am – 11am.
Individuals may get to the clinic via PT-1 depending on insurance eligibility and can also take the SRTA bus to the North Front Street and Kilburn Street stop.
