During their 4-week+ stay, clients receive clinical therapy sessions with their psychologist and addiction therapist, daily wellness activities and exercise, and unique excursions to Bali temples, rice fields, and other natural wonders.

Freedom’s masters-level clinicians include a psychologist, addiction therapists, and an on-call psychiatrist. Their support staff includes a yoga teacher, support workers, and talented chefs. Clients meet with their psychologist 3 times a week and their addiction therapist twice weekly. Freedom also provides educational sessions on addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and coping strategies. Their Seven Pillars of self-care help implement skills and tools learned.
Treatment begins with a medical consultation and detox medications, if needed. Freedom uses a variety of evidence-based and holistic therapies to uncover and address the trauma behind addiction. Their evidence-based therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and internal family systems therapy.
