About Edgewater Recovery
Edgewood Recovery offers two residential homes for treatment. Edgewater Recovery offers substance abuse and drug treatment for both men and women at gender-specific facilities. The men's residential location is called Edgewater Recovery Center, and the women’s residential facility is called Blue Sky Recovery Center. They are a state licensed behavioral health services organization that offers multiple levels of care for both men and women affected by addiction. They believe in a phase model of recovery, where clients move through phases of treatment based on their progress at each level of care. Edgewater Recovery uses evidence-based clinical care. They provide therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), family counseling, individual and group therapy, and 12-Step facilitation. Edgewater Recovery is accredited by CARF and accepts most major insurances.
Edgewater is separated into two gender-specific homes in Morehead, Kentucky. These homes are tucked away in the hillsides. Each location has shared bedrooms and bathrooms. Clients have access to a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and an outdoor patio area.
