About Connections Wellness Group Southlake
Connections Wellness Group Southlake is an outpatient mental health center that offers intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programming for adults. Their center is accredited by The Joint Commission and they use evidence-based practices in their treatment programs. Both in-person and telehealth treatment options are available.
Connections Wellness Group Southlake offers an adult IOP focusing on general mental health and another focusing on trauma. The IOPs typically consist of 3 hours of group therapy per day that includes process groups, psychoeducational groups, experiential groups, and nursing groups. In addition, individuals will receive medication management and medication education. The program is typically 4-6 weeks long and at the end of treatment, clinical staff will collaborate with patients on an aftercare plan.
The center offers an adult PHP focusing on general mental health and another focusing on trauma. Each group meets 5 days a week for 4 hours at a time. The PHP consists of process groups, psychoeducation groups, and experiential groups. Individuals can receive a psychiatric evaluation, medication management, nursing evaluations, medication education, and family consultation through the PHP.
Connections Wellness Group also offers adult dual diagnosis/substance use IOPs and PHPs. The adult dual diagnosis IOP and PHP groups are like the general mental health adult IOPs and PHPs, but focus on treating individuals with a substance use disorder and another mental health concern. The programs aim to decrease the likelihood of relapse by treating the whole person, and not just one aspect of their illness. Therapists are trained and certified in SMART recovery facilitation and techniques and will use a holistic approach and evidence-based therapies during treatment. Both the IOP and PHP are offered Monday-Friday 9am-1pm. The virtual IOP is offered Monday-Thursday 6pm-8pm and Friday 5:30pm-7:30pm.
