About Community Fairbanks Recovery Lodge
Operated under Community Health Network, Fairbanks Recovery Lodge is a minimum 30 day residential treatment facility for men aged 18 years or older struggling with substance abuse. Tucked away in a secluded environment surrounded by nature, this 14-bed lodge provides confidential recovery support and creates a tight knit community among the residents. Many of the staff are going through recovery themselves and have gone through the program at Fairbanks. This facility promotes long-term residential treatment, so most patients stay on average 45 days. Bedrooms are shared up to three residents per room, and residents cook their own meals in a fully equipped kitchen. Other amenities include a basketball court, fire pit, outdoor space, walking trails, and a gazebo. Some of the activities available to residents include hiking, bowling, group activities, group therapy, and individual therapy.
