Medication-Assisted Treatment
Licensed and compassionate clinicians work with patients in need of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for a physical dependency to alcohol or opioids. MAT is an evidence-based treatment approach, alleviating the physical symptoms of withdrawal and reducing the pleasurable effects of opioid or alcohol use. Medications such as Suboxone or Vivitrol are FDA-approved, and in conjunction with counseling and mental and behavioral health support, have been shown to lead to long-term sobriety.
