Berkshire Mountain Health understands the risk of relapse and helps clients identify environmental, social, and personal triggers. Through individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy sessions, clients can gain a sense of resilience. Some of their therapeutic modalities include eye movement therapy (EMDR) for trauma, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), hypnotherapy, and life coaching. Each client enjoys a shared bedroom featuring an en suite bathroom, offering the perfect balance of community connection and personal comfort through semi-private accommodations. The community room offers comfortable lounge chairs, a TV, games, and a variety of snacks. Berkshire Mountain Health’s aftercare program consists of a highly structured discharge plan to support clients long term. Their care team works closely with clients to determine the level of care they need, with some people moving on to a day treatment program and others continuing with 12-Step meetings.

At Berkshire Mountain, pets may be permitted on a case-by-case basis. Clients who feel that having their pet would significantly support their healing process are encouraged to discuss arrangements with the team. While pets are not permitted in group sessions, they are welcome to be walked and spend time with their owners outside the facility.
