About Balance House
Nestled beside the Wasatch mountains, Balance House’s inpatient treatment levels are created for young adult men who are seeking assistance with drugs, alcohol or life in general. Clients will work with a primary therapist, but have the option to learn how to mix music, write, create digital art, or even construct an engine. All of these activities will be woven into the therapeutic process. Balance House’s program addresses substance use, co-occurring conditions, and sets men up to thrive in their personal lives.
Each client will receive a longboard upon entrance into Balance House. His first assignment will be to build and design his longboard to make it his own. We will then be taking our clients up Provo Canyon on nights with full moons to ride down under the moon light. A client's total therapy includes nutritional guidance, exercise, sleep, connection, diagnostics, family engagement, and medication management (MAT) as needed.
Recreational activities with peers are a part of the Balance House treatment program to promote social stability. Customers will take part in camping, hiking, biking, skiing, and snowboarding excursions (depending on the season). Longboarding, boating, and paddle boarding will be among the additional activities, with process groups taking place in the midst of a lake. Clients can enjoy shared bedrooms, an on-site rec room, outings to sports games, and sports teams for clients to join. Balance House is an out of network provider but can work alongside some insurances. They also accept private pay. Treatment from Balance House generally lasts 4 months.
