Background
Ben began his career in marketing, specializing in behavioral healthcare advertising. Working at the intersection of technology and treatment gave him an early view of a problem he would spend the next decade working to solve: people were being purposefully misled during some of the most consequential decisions of their lives, with very little reliable information to guide them.
That work laid the foundation for his focus on building meaningful, mission-driven platforms designed around what people need in moments of crisis rather than misinformation. In 2017, he co-founded Recovery.com with a mission to connect people with life-changing care.
Current Work
As CEO, Ben has guided Recovery.com from an incubated project to one of the fastest-growing companies in the country. Today, it is a global platform where more than a million people each month connect with treatment options across a network of 25,000+ providers—and its reach extends well beyond search. The company's podcasts and social content reach an audience of more than 21.5 million people every month.
Ben is also an active contributor to Madison's entrepreneurial ecosystem. He serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at StartingBlock Madison, where he champions opportunities for local founders, and as an officer with Capital Entrepreneurs, supporting the city's startup community.

Our Promise
How Is Recovery.com Different?
We believe everyone deserves access to accurate, unbiased information about mental health and recovery. That's why we have a comprehensive set of treatment providers and don't charge for inclusion. Any center that meets our criteria can list for free. We do not and have never accepted fees for referring someone to a particular center. Providers who advertise with us must be verified by our Research Team and we clearly mark their status as advertisers.
Our goal is to help you choose the best path for your recovery. That begins with information you can trust.
